I can't believe it's been four years since I last posted. Wow I guess I can say there have been so many things going on since i've been gone that I couldn't begin to post them all so i'll just post what I did this weekend. OK now that I think about it i'll start with saturday only because I honestly can't remember what the heck I did Friday yep one of those weekends.
Normally I don't like to leave the house because it always ends with me spending a lot of money ugh! I'm trying to save money but all that flew out the window in one day. I spent about $120 I felt like I broke the bank but it was for a good cause or at least that's what I keep telling myself so I wouldn't cry. It's May and that means summer that also means summer clothes... shirts, shoes, and shorts. Now it wouldn't be such a tragic event if I only had one person to shop for but that is not the case I just so happen to be abundantly blessed with three amazingly wonderful children and there it is that is why it was such a tragic event for me.
So I decided to take one of my kids with me shopping for a couple of summer shirt's my oldest daughter who happens to be 12. Shopping with a pre-teen was a very exhausting experience but in the end we had fun. I swear if I had a dime for every time I said the words PUT IT BACK! or DID YOU BRING YOUR MONEY I would be as rich as a kardashian right now. I did call for back up I eventually realized how far in over my head I was after the gazillionth time I had to say it. I call in the big boss she raised four girls who better for the job my mom and my siste,r needless to say she ended up spend some of grandma's money too.
The best part to me was when we went to chili's it was awesome and I hurt myself but it was worth it we had the 2 for $20 I also forgot how picky pre-teen are when it comes to food. I ordered the loaded cheese fries thinking she would eat them with me until she saw them and there it was the typical teen face of ultimate disgust however my face was like a kid under the tree at christmas I mean come look at this
how could you not like this.
She stayed true to pre-teen form and ordered well within her comfort zone chicken crispers but get this she took one look at the chicken and professed assuredly that it was not real chicken, mind you this was before she tastes any of it.
however she didn't have any problems with this at all
.
On the other hand my sis, mom and myself had the cajun chicken pasta and after eating the loaded fries by myself I knew being the light weight i'am this beautiful work of art would TKO me right out of the game . I didn't even make it through half. Good thing shopping was the desert on our menu because we all had to walk it off. Thank goodness for super walmart and it get's better considering Saturday night is family my hubby ordered a bucket of fried chicken and french fries he was being sweet he didn't want me to have to cook after a long day of shopping.
Sunday was spent recovering and doing laundry didn't know how therapeutic folding towels could be.
